Let’s Talk Solutions!
Pam Bertani has demonstrated the passion, courage, professionalism, skill, and vision to take Fairfield to the next level. Under Pam’s next-level leadership, Fairfield will become what we all know this City has the potential to become – a *Destination City* with a robust Downtown, top-quality shopping, dining, and entertainment venues, increased access to affordable housing, more diverse and plentiful job opportunities, and safe communities where we live, work and play.
DESTINATION FAIRFIELD – SEVEN POINTS OF LIGHT!
Pam has a plan to move Fairfield forward – to its destiny! She calls that plan The Seven Points of Light – The Plan is summarized below:
-
Fairfield residents have spoken – and Pam listened. The vast majority of residents who attended several Vista Ridge Town Hall Meetings and City Council Meetings have expressed their disapproval of this Project. Pam voted NO on Vista Ridge. Nevertheless, a majority of the City Council voted to approve Vista Ridge in November 2025 – instead of listening to YOU – our bosses. Pam will continue to listen to this community – and fight for you. #YourVoiceMatters!
-
LLMDs are vital to the maintenance and beauty of our neighborhoods – in many parts of our City. The 2026 California Court of Appeals’ Thacker decision entitles many Fairfield residents to LLMD refunds. Pam is fighting for you to receive your refunds automatically – without the maze of paperwork! Please join Pam – let’s keep working together to maintain the beauty of our neighborhoods – and our City!
-
Under Pam’s leadership, we will continue to champion solutions that work – to name a few: increased access to the C.A.R.E. Act Courts system designed to work with our homeless residents by providing services and housing; expanded shelter services; increased affordable housing; and ensuring that Shelter, Inc. (310 Beck Avenue) works consistently and compassionately at maximum capacity. Let’s move our homeless residents off of the streets – toward living in housing with dignity and respect. Living on Fairfield streets should not be an option.
-
YOUR voice matters the most! Robust community engagement – it all starts with you! The most important attribute of our Democracy – is your participation in it. Pam has established a demonstrable track record comprising community outreach activities – with your voice in mind – including in-depth Town Hall Meetings for issues that matter to our community (such as the Vista Ridge Project), Listening Tour Meetings – and most recently The Public Table Town Hall Meeting Series in all 6 Districts in Fairfield. As you Mayor, Pam will continue to hear – and respond to – your concerns. Working together is the key to getting the job done!
-
Six syllables – one word – accountability! The City of Fairfield is facing a $12M structural deficit. Our residents can and should hold the Mayor and City Council accountable for finding solutions to solve this problem. Solano Town Center is currently generating $350K in quarterly revenue – that’s not good enough. Downtown Fairfield is generating 1% of Fairfield’s General Fund revenue – that’s not good enough. Under Pam’s leadership, we will increase these and other revenue streams by transforming Fairfield into a Destination City that attracts regional & local consumers – and their disposable income!
-
The Suisun Valley vintners have done a tremendous job at branding our winery region as a Destination to which individuals and families travel from both near and far. Under Pam’s leadership, we will continue to support the Suisun Valley Strategic Plan – and Suisun Valley will continue to thrive and flourish as a burgeoning Northern California Destination!

Fairfield CAN is a collaborative working group comprising local churches and other members of the Faith Community, strategic non-profit community partners, Travis Air Force Base, and The City of Fairfield. CAN plans and executes creative community programming, including Fairfield’s Annual Juneteenth Festival, the CAN Annual Thanksgiving Dinners for our entire community, Fresh Food Festivals at our local schools featuring free, delicious, nutritious food for Fairfield families – and more. Together with the invaluable contributions and leadership of strategic community partners, Pam established Fairfield CAN in 2020 as an expression and extension of her faith. Onward and upward we go – together!
